Puppeteers in New Zealand is the Official NZ UNIMA Centre and a communication and support network for New Zealand puppeteers and related artists set up after the 1st NZ Puppet Festival in 1986.

PINZ is a means of exchanging information regarding performances, workshops, gatherings, international festivals information and the history of the NZ puppet theatre. We encourage the growth of the art of the puppet by means of liaison with UNIMA and Puppeteers of America.

We also provide help to foreign puppet companies interested in touring our beautiful country.
